HIGH EFFICIENCY STRATEGIES

LEED Certification, Water and Energy Efficiency

Completed in 2020, The Denver water campus consists of over 350,000 square feet of office, laboratory, maintenance, and testing facilities. The facility has an occupant comfort rating indicating that 95% of occupants are comfortable (when a standard building is 80%). This facility also houses the largest radiant heating and cooling system in Colorado.

Miles Dake provided energy, water, and thermal comfort analysis for 250,000 square feet of the campus as well as mechanical system engineering and architectural systems consulting. The result is a campus that is LEED gold certified, consumes 35% less energy than a standard building, and has exceptional indoor environments.
